Videojet Technologies Inc. is a world leading manufacturer of coding, printing, and laser marking products and solutions. They serve the food and beverage market and during the COVID-19 pandemic, facing significant challenges – they need to keep their customers producing.
REACHING GLOBAL CUSTOMERS
The global marketing team wanted to proactively reach global customers with an offer that they could connect their products to the Videojet Cloud for free, enabling remote monitoring, diagnoses, and potential fixes to ensure they experience no interruption of service. Videojet developed source emails, with supporting video and landing pages, detailing the offer and how customers could quickly adjust how they worked with Videojet. This email campaign was targeted at eight countries and required an urgent, 24-hour turnaround.
WELOCALIZE SUPPORTS URGENT TURNAROUND OF EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS
Welocalize and Videojet established their relationship in 2013, developing a scalable, global content strategy and localization program which supports many product launches and marketing campaigns. Welocalize has dedicated teams of linguists and engineers in place all over the world, all familiar with the Videojet brand and product range.
When the email campaign request came in, Welocalize’s first move was to engage the relevant talent teams in Europe and Asia, and develop a rapid turnaround translation workflow, allocating target deadlines for each stage. This included source evaluation and preparation of translation kits, DTP and multimedia engineering (video), QA and email testing, with final delivery to members of the Videojet team. Welocalize teams liaised with in-country marketing managers to manage the email testing process before the final send. Videojet marketing managers from each region had to review and sign off each individual email campaign.
Videojet are able to continuously monitor and analyze the delivery and performance of the email campaign. Using this data, further email communications can be developed, ensuring customers are kept fully informed and service is not impacted.
