Both companies frame this partnership as part of a broader shift away from closed, “walled garden” models of language technology. Welocalize CEO Paul Carr underscores that an open architecture, where enterprises can combine tools and choose servicing partners, is ultimately more beneficial for customers. 

Initially, the integrated solution will be offered with Welocalize providing linguist-in-the-loop services. In a second phase, enterprises will have full flexibility to choose another language service provider if desired.
