Multilingual publishing veteran joins solutions-focused production team
Frederick, MD United States, February 1, 2008 – Welocalize Inc., a leading provider of integrated globalization services with operational centers in five countries, has added Maxwell Hoffmann, a leading publishing expert in the localization industry, to its growing team of expert solution providers. Hoffmann will work out of the Welocalize office in Portland, Oregon.
Hoffmann joins the Welocalize team at a time when customers are demanding cutting edge solutions for their global content needs. With experience managing large-scale publishing solutions, he will play a key role in coordinating project-specific production and designing solutions tailored to customer needs. “Maxwell is a recognized publishing authority and has been active in the localization community for years, on both the client and vendor side,” explains Smith Yewell, Welocalize CEO. “His deep knowledge and talent are illustrative of the individuals we seek to continue building a great company. With nearly 25 years of desktop publishing experience, Hoffmann has also specialized in multilingual publishing, document conversion, XML and process training in the localization industry for over 10 years. Hoffmann recently served as Manager of Consulting & Training Solutions at ENLASO Corporation, where he provided training and consulting in XML, multilingual publishing, data migration and project management. He also served as Product Marketing Manager and Director of Worldwide Sales Training for FrameMaker at Frame Technology. In 2007, he was designated an Adobe Community Expert on FrameMaker by Adobe Systems, and continues to advise Adobe on product development and marketing.
