Chief Customer Officer
As the Chief Customer Officer, Erin Wynn is the champion of the Welocalize customer, ensuring that the Customer First objective and philosophy is exemplified and put into practice across the organization. She is competitive by nature and enjoys collaborating and driving teams. Having the responsibility of engaging all Welocalize teams with the objective of accomplishing one common goal makes her feel right at home. She thrives in companies with an entrepreneurial spirit, that are doing things differently, and where change is the norm.
Erin joined Welocalize as part of the Transware acquisition in 2008. Prior to taking on the CCO role, she was the General Manager for Park IP Translations, a Welocalize company and Welocalize’s senior executive responsible for global sales and marketing. Before joining Welocalize, Erin spent the last 20 years in various sales and management roles. She feels her current success comes from many years in the trenches. She had great success as an individual contributor and feels strongly that in order to lead you have to have been there before and understand what others are going to have as challenges. She has held roles in sales management, channel development and management, and vendor relations. After college Erin worked at Piper Jaffray and McGladrey & Pullen in Minneapolis. Her introduction to sales came when she joined CBT Systems in the emerging e-learning industry. She had great success and moved through the ranks for the following 10 years. She then joined Transware and started her journey in the localization industry.
Erin grew up in Iowa in the Midwest region of the US, went to college in South Dakota, and took her first job in Minnesota. You betcha! She now lives in the middle of Arizona’s Sonoran Desert (the Midwest winters will do that to you). Her true passion is being with her husband, David, of 23 years, their 11-year-old daughter Kyah Ashley, and two labradoodles, Bogey and Jazz. When she has time, she enjoys reading, playing golf, biking, watching movies and exercising (really any sport will do). Anything that involves spending time with family.
“The spirit, the will to win, and the will to excel are the things that endure. These qualities are so much more important than the events that occur.”
– Vince Lombardi
