Tim Delbrugge is the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Welocalize, where he focuses on the human aspect of the company in areas such as culture, human resources, communications, marketing and administration. Tim has always believed that for a company to be truly great, it must have a dynamic Executive Team that leave its egos at the door and permeates a sense of stability throughout the entire organization.

Tim started at Welocalize at the beginning of 2009 as the CFO and has an extensive background in finance and accounting (over 23 years.) Previous stops in his career include nine plus years at Price Waterhouse, 3 years at Med Star Health and 9 plus years at W.R. Grace where in his last role Tim served as CFO for Grace’s EMEA business, which represented $1.7 billion or over half of the Grace’s operations. During that role, Tim spent 3.5 years in Germany and although his he is not fluent in Deutsch, the experience gave him a great understanding of global business and economics as well as a belief that a diverse workforce leads to more creativity and innovation.

Tim’s hobbies include working out with free weights, sports, darts, cards and reading. He also enjoys spending time with his family, particularly his nieces and nephews. Tim lives 20 miles north of Frederick on 20+ acres of wooded land at 1,600 foot elevation with his partner of 19 years. The secluded environment is sometimes a challenge. Tim keeps a chainsaw in his car and has had to use it on several occasions. Clearly, Tim is the kind of man who doesn’t let anything get in his way!
