Fredrick, Maryland – December 9, 2013 – Welocalize, a global leader in translation and localization solutions, announced today the latest release of its open-source translation management system (TMS), GlobalSight 8.5.1. The updated version includes a new quality check feature that helps translators identify any missing translations before completing the task.
“This version of GlobalSight includes more features and more functionality,” said Genara Rodriguez, Applications Deployment Manager at Welocalize. “Translators are now asked the question ‘Are you sure?’ when they try to click ‘task completed’ for any task that still contains untranslated segments. This new feature allows the translators to identify any missing translated text and provides the opportunity to fix it online or approve the segment if it does not need to be translated.”
Welocalize’s GlobalSight 8.5.1 release also includes further enhancements to the reporting functionality including improvements to the UI. All reports are now automatically generated in xlsx format.
Welocalize will hold two webinars focused on this latest version of GlobalSight, hosted by Steve Billings, Senior Solutions Architect at Welocalize.
