The OpenTM2 Partnership Steering Committee announced today that Welocalize has added a number of interoperability improvements to the next version of the OpenTM2 workbench, release 0.9.5. OpenTM2 is the open source version of IBM’s Translation Manager/2, TM2. TM2 is a widely used enterprise-level translation workbench for professional translators.

This new release supports the Adobe® FrameMaker® 9 file format (FM and MIF) and contains bug fixes to help Welocalize clients all over the world.

With the release of GlobalSight 8.0, the power of Welocalize’s localization supercloud just got better. Users of the TAUS Data Association (TDA) free online search facility have increased their usage by 50% since the implementation of Welocalize’s GlobalSight in October 2010.
