TAUS – TAUS is an innovation think tank and platform for industry shared services, resources and research for the translation sector globally. The association supports entrepreneurs and principals in the translation industry to share and define new strategies through a comprehensive range of events, publications and knowledge tools. Welocalize has collaborated with TAUS to create the Post-Editing Training certification programs.

GALA – The Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) is the world’s largest association for the language industry. As a non-profit organization, they provide resources, education, knowledge and research for thousands of global companies. GALA members are companies that specialize in language services or technologies, including translation vendors, localization service providers, interpretation companies, globalization consultants, and language technology developers. Welocalize is a member of GALA.
AMTA (Association for Machine Translation in the Americas) – AMTA is an association dedicated to anyone interested in the translation of languages using computers in some way. This includes people with translation needs, commercial system developers, researchers, sponsors, and people studying, evaluating, and understanding the science of machine translation (MT) and educating the public on important scientific techniques and principles. Welocalize is a member of AMTA. Olga Beregovaya, Welocalize VP of Language Tools and industry expert in machine translation serves on the board of AMTA.
IAMT (International Association for Machine Translation) – IAMT is the leading organization of the three regional associations for machine translation. The regional organizations are the Association for Machine Translation in the Americas (AMTA), the European Association for Machine Translation (EAMT) and the Asia-Pacific Association for Machine Translation (AAMT). Welocalize is a member of IAMT through the AMTA.
CNGL – CNGL is a collaborative academia-industry research center dedicated to delivering disruptive innovations in digital intelligent content, and to revolutionizing the global content value chain for enterprises, communities and individuals. CNGL is pioneering a new concept called ‘Global Intelligent Content’. Global Intelligent Content will enable digital content to be more discoverable, adaptable and re-purposeable.
